A cutting board made of Afromosia would be a sleek and elegant addition to any kitchen. Afrormosia, also known as African Teak, is a hardwood native to tropical Africa. It's prized for its beautiful golden to reddish-brown color and fine, straight grain.
Afromosia is highly regarded for its durability and resistance to wear and moisture, making it an excellent choice for cutting boards. Its tight grain structure helps to prevent bacteria from penetrating the surface, making it hygienic for food preparation.
Average thickness is 1 1/4 inches.
Every cutting board is finished with several coats of food safe mineral oil and a thin coat of bee's wax to bring out the natural beauty of the wood.
