Cutting board "The Block"

Functional kitchen art. These edge grain cutting boards are made of Natural Hickory and Red Oak. Two types of hardwood that are known of being tough. These boards are thick and heavy. They can handle some serious chopping. The deer skull and wording are laser engraved and then filled in with a food safe epoxy. The engraved side of the board is for display. The back side is where you'll do the chopping/cutting. This will keep the front of your board scratch free and looking great. 

Thicknesses can range from 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 inches thick. Although, we do try to keep them on the thicker side.

Every board is given several coats of a food safe mineral oil and then a thin layer of bee's wax is applied. The board is usable right out of the box.

**Photos are a representation of previous work/custom orders. Your cutting board could have a different grain pattern. This could affect how the wood absorbs the mineral oil as well as the final look and color of the wood but, rest assured your cutting board will come out looking beautiful. Not to mention this helps to make your custom-made cutting board one of a kind & unique!
