This face grain cutting board is made of Curupay & African Padauk. The Curupay, also known as Patagonia Rosewood, comes from Latin America & has a beautiful combination of Dark red, slightly maroon, & some irregular dark black streaks or stripes. African Padauk is an exotic wood, as you can guess, it is found in Africa. This wood is used in decorative woodworking projects as it's naturally gorgeous with colors ranging from a bright orange red with hints of dark chocolate brown to light brown stripes.
The board is finished with several coats of food safe mineral oil and a thin coat of bee's wax. Measures 17 inches long and 12 inches wide.
